To be completely honest, New York City is probably the most expensive city to live in in the world. But that said, I feel studying art in NYC is probably the smartest decision any aspiring artist should make. SVA is such an awesome school and I’ve learned so much already. My art has improved immensely and in the long run, it’s definitely worth it. 

Unfortunately, SVA is notorious for not giving a lot of financial aid, but there are a few scholarships to apply for and it’s worth a shot.

I love it at the School of Visual Arts and would definitely recommend it to anyone serious about studying to become a professional because there are so many great opportunities.
